Wow...

...it's been a while since my last post. The twins are growing and learning everyday, all the while teaching me new things too. I have a drawer full of snacks for Paige's lunch and I stash our candy in there as well. Candy is a treat in my house so the kids don't get it too often and the twins being only 10 months, hardly get any at all. They do love the Hershey's kisses though! Well, our good friends Missy and Brandon gave Paige what seems to be an infinite supply of her favorite candy, Fun Dip. You know the flavored sugar with a sugar stick to dip in it to eat. Well, anyway, some how the drawer got left open and the twins found a package of fun dip. Anyone with children can tell you that a baby has the power to tear any kind of paper from what seems like birth. Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million. Enjoy. Oh, Pressley is the one in the pink, which leaves Peyton to be the one wearing white. Can you tell which one is the more adventurous?

Keep out of reach of Pressley

Pressley is proving to be my most adventurous child. She will find anything that she is not supposed to have and taste it before anything else. The following came from her sister's art kit that Santa left for her.

So much for uneventful...

In my first post of the new year, I believe that I stated that I was believing for a relatively uneventful year. I think that I will have to take that back. It is events like the following that make my days bright. BTW>>>the twins LOVE hershey's kisses!!!

Twilight...

...ended with enough of a cliff hanger to make me want to go out and get the next book. I know that I will be like number one million in line to check it out from the library, so it's off to B&N for Starbucks and the next book! Until we meet again...

Happy 2009

Here it is! My first post of 2009. I am believing for much health and happiness and a closer walk with God in 2009. Both twins stayed up to ring in the new year with the family. We thought they would never go to sleep. Cole and Sara hosted an excellent party. The food was splendid and the fireworks beautiful. We got to see our nephew, Sgt. Jason Todd for the first time in probably over a year. No, I take that back, he did get a very short visit in May. That was when the twins were supposed to be born, but instead decided to come in early in March. 2008 was a tumultuous year. I am hoping that 2009 will be a bit less eventful, maybe not less, but definitely more positive events. Cole and Sara and Christine and Dustin will all be great parents when their miracles arrive in July! I can't wait to see the two newest members of the family! Well I guess that's it for now. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

p.s. "Twilight" is turning out to be a great read. I am so glad I didn't ruin it by watching the movie first!
