It has been so long since I have blogged on here, and the last one came about as a venting session! I have much more upbeat things to say today!! Well, the school year is finally over. Today is the last full day of school for the Needville ISD!.. The kids will be getting out at 1 tomorrow and Friday. God really blessed Paige and my family with Mrs. Baker. We will never forget her. After struggling through the first part of school, I was beginning to doubt myself for sending Paige to school so early. I do know that a lot of kids go to school at age 5, but at orientation, we were told that although some are quite ready, most do better at age 6. Well, Mrs. Baker continued to work with us and never gave up, nor did she allow Paige to give up, and we have finished the school year with flying colors. We will continue to work with Paige at home to improve on her math skills, she is still at a k 4 level, but otherwise she has made a 110% improvement. The twins have begun walking, and I have learned that no matter what I do or how high stuff goes, no house will ever be 100% baby proof and they will still get their hands on what ever it was that they wanted in the first place. Their vocabulary is growing, but they still prefer to speak their own language and expect everyone else to understand it too. One of my oldest and best friends recently gave birth to her second little boy. I am so happy for them. Marissa and Sean are awesome parents and you can just see God's love radiating from them and their family. July 8 and 9 are the due dates for babies Wesley Zakem and Jude Raynor! I can't wait to see them both. Cole and Sara, Wesley's mommy and daddy, and Christine and Dustin, baby Jude's mommy and daddy, are all going to ROCK as parents!!! They have all been so great with my kids, and I am so happy that God has blessed them with their own little gifts!! I can't wait to hold those little boys in my arms and show them how much God and aunt Donna love them!!! Well, it's 10:30, so I guess I better start thinking about what I am going to feed these little girls for lunch. They like to eat early. Until next time....
