Mommy moments

Hello, friends and followers!! What a beautiful, cool morning! I just love the cold weather!! This will probably be a short post, as I have tons to do today. This morning, like always, I got up first, found Paige some clothes for the day, and got her some breakfast. After hair brushing and back pack packing, she was ready for school!!! First grade is so much fun!! Daddy is off today, so he took her to school. This is where the title of this post comes in. As I was standing on my front porch waving them off, I got a little sad, and my eyes did tear up a bit. Hence the title "Mommy moments" In that moment, I caught a glimpse of the future. I did not see my little girl getting a ride to school with daddy, instead, what I saw was Paige all grown up, driving off for her first day of college...I will never be one to rush the growing process. If it were up to me they would stay babies in diapers forever, but it's not up to me. Therefore, I have to, with the best of my abilities, do the job God gave me of raising happy, healthy children and above all else teach the Word by example. Only then can I be assured that I have done my job! OK, this may not make sense to anyone but me, but that is what was on my mind!!! Peace, Love and Twilight!!! Only 5 more days 'till the NEW MOON premier!!!!

My terribly neglected blog

I realized, while driving in my car today, that I have greatly neglected my blog. The twins finally went down for a nap, so mommy has down time too!! There is nothing like chasing a matching pair of toddles around all day!! They have been soooo good! We even made a trip to the library, where mommy, like always, checked out too many books, but hey, that's what they're there for, right? I am taking bets on how many I can read before I take Paige for the after school program on Thursday. I would have normally waited until then, but the twins and I needed to get away for a while, even if that while was just an hour! I thank God every day for blessing me with such a wonderful, beautiful family, and mostly for well behaved kids! He keeps His blessings flowing every day! Well, I am signing off for now, to go read one of those books...More to come!!!!!!!
